Sperandio Plans, Operations, Intelligence and Training (POIT) Course at the Red Lion Hotel in Denver, Colorado, April 20-25, 1997. This year's postgraduate short course will bring together more than 350 AMEDD officers of various ranks from around the world. The course objective is to develop multi-echelons of medical leadership by presenting them with a vision of the 21st century. Students will be stimulated to think about how Army medicine will organize, train, operate, equip, lead and maintain in the new century given the changing political, economic, military and new technology environments. In conjunction with the course, corporate exhibitors will offer information on military medicine, intelligence, communications, patient evacuation, chemical-biological protective shelters, deployable shelter systems, telemedicine systems and other medical related areas.
