The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Laboratory and Standards Branch (Code 5.4.2.8) has a requirement for eight (8) Ruggedized Panel Meter Calibrators. The specifications define the mechanical, electrical, and electronic characteristics for Ruggedized Panel Meter Calibrators to be used in the Navy Metrology and Calibration Program. This equipment is intended for use by Navy personnel in shipboard and shorebased laboratories to calibrate shipboard panel meters in the laboratory and in-place at the meter panels. Panel meters such as AC and DC voltage and current meters, AC power, power factor and phase meters and synchroscopes shall be calibrated by the calibrator. This acquisition is being procured as a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, as such a SF1449 will be issued. The anticipated delivery date is on or before 18 June 1997.
