Contact Point, Jim Cooper, 510-803-2775. Vocational Training (VT) Instructor for Dairy Management and Operations at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Farm, 3901 Klein Blvd., Lompoc, CA. The contractor must be an accredited post-secondary educational institution for providing educational services consistent with the requirements of the solicitation. The contractor must be found in the directory entitled ``Accredited Institutions of Post-Secondary Education'', published by the American Council on Post-Secondary Accreditation (COPA). The contractor shall furnish proof that it is an accredited college with all state licenses and/or certifications. The contractor must have the ability to transfer credit hours earned to other institutions and be vocational certified. All instructors must meet standards set forth for community colleges. The contractor will provide a syllabus or description of curriculum for each VT program, if requested. The contractor shall provide a certified Dairy Management and Operations VT program to the inmates of FPC Lompoc on a contractual basis not to exceed 30 hours per week. The contractor will instruct inmates three days weekly, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, in dairy operations and management. Instruction sessions will be 8 hours daily. Four of the eight hours will be classroom instruction and four hours will be hands-on training. The Government intends to award a contract for the Base Year and Four Option Year periods. The solicitation number IFB 116-0002, will be available on or about December 13, 1996, with a tentative bid opening date of January 15,1997.
