607-6920. The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to negotiate
with Computer Associates International, Inc. for the purchase of 250
power units of Unicenter for SPARC 20/71, 45 power units of Unicenter
DB Agent, and 5 power units of Unicenter Agent Pack (System, SSO and
S/W Del). Annual maintenance will include 24 hour, 7-day support and
provide all product upgrades while maintenance is current. Sole source
for this product is based on this being the only known software
capable of connecting to the Field Command, Defense Nuclear Agency
(DNA) system at Ft. Huachuca, AZ, while providing core GCCS application
service to the four GCCS-T sites (PAC, CONUS, CONUS Backup, and EUR)
and using existing test-based PC/Workstations, communications server,
and communication environment at remote user locations. Mandatory
technical specifications are: All components in these systems shall
work together and all software, boards, and memory shall be
pre-installed. Configuration information includes: Agent network
protocol must be SNMP compliant, Agent sampling rate by adjustable to
user selected interval, Agent data collected for central network
management and must be compatible with Sun Net Manager (version 2.2.3
to latest version). Must include: High water mark for concurrent Oracle
users on the DB platform for a selectable fixed interval of time that
can be sampled from multiple remote Oracle database server platforms.
Identify on multiple remote Oracle DB platforms: Locks, disk space,
bottlenecks, table utilization (eg., tables used the most), resources
used by session, SQL statements used by session, all user sessions,
table space fragmentation, number of extents by table, log files, roll
back size, IO and CPU utilization, shared pool information, buffer
hit/miss ratio, data read/write rates and times, table scan reads, SGA
memory utilization and back-up status on table spaces, tables and full
instance. Must be compatible with Oracle RDBMS version 7.1.4 to most
recent Oracle production release (7.3.x). Agent and manager must
operate on Solaris 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5 platforms. This notice of intent
is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses from
responsible sources will be fully considered. Responses must be
received within 15 days from the date of this publication. Interested

data substantiating their ability to furnish the Government's
requirement, including technical and pricing data. All requests must be
