S -- PROVIDE PEST CONTROL SERVICES AT THE NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL, LA MESA HOUSING, PRESIDIO OF MONTEREY, PRESIDIO OF MONTEREY ANNEX, AND TENANT FACILITIES AND AREAS, MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA Sol N62474-97-B-2610. This is a modification to the previously announced solicitation number N62474-96-B-7181. The work includes providing all labor, supervision, tools, material and equipment required to perform pest control services at the Naval Postgraduate School, La Mesa Village, Presidio of Monterey, Presidio of Monterey Annex, and Tenant Facilities and Areas, Monterey, California. The operations to be performed include inspection, identification of visible pest damage, location of potential pest infestation, determination of extent of pest problem, and appropriate pest control treatment. The treatment for the elimination and/or control of all nuisance pests shall be provided. The contractor shall be licensed by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs in Branch I (fumigation) for drywood termite control, Branch II (general pest) for household pest control, and Branch III (termite) for subterranean termite control. The contractor shall also be licensed by the State of California Department of Pesticide Regulation in Category B (landscape maintenance) for insect, rodent, and foliage pest control. This is a Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity Contract. The contract is for a 12 month base year with two (2) - one year options. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7342. The related small business size standard is $3.5 million. Potential bidders should request Solicitation No. N62474-97-B-2610 in writing. Interested parties should respond as early as possible, but not later than 10 calendar days of this notice. Tentative issue date is on or about 02 December 1996 with a tentative bid opening date of 06 January 1997. The estimated start date is 17 February 1997.
