Under the original synopsis, the dates, times, and building locations of the Pre-proposal Conferences/Site Visits were not specified. The remainder of this synopsis will provide additional information concerning the Pre-proposal Conferences/Site Visits. A Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit will be conducted at NAS North Island, CA. on December 11, 1996, in Building 797, at 0800. Send Visit Requests to Mr. R. Viergutz, (COR), at facsimile (619) 545-9229. A Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit will be conducted at NAS Cecil Field, FL. on December 17, 1996, in Buildings 858, at 0800. Send Visit Requests to Mr. M. Jenkins, (COR), at facsimile (904)778-6697. Each company is restricted to two attendees at the conference and site visits. SECRET security clearances are required. The offeror shall also submit visit requests at least three days before the conference for those company officials who will attend. All prospective offerors are urged to attend this conference. In order to make the conference as productive as possible, offerors are requested to submit any questions they may have in writing to the Contracting Officer, TSD-27121 (JMG) at facsimile (407) 380-4164, within ten days after receipt of the referenced solicitation. Failure of a prospective offeror to submit any questions or to attend the conference will be construed to mean that the offeror fully understands all requirements of the solicitation. Prospective offerors are advised that the conference will be held solely for the purpose of explaining the specifications and terms and conditions of this solicitation. All prospective offerors are advised that at the conclusion of the conference, unless this solicitation is amended in writing, it will remain unchanged and, that if an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of any such amendment shall be applicable. In no event will failure to attend the conference constitute grounds for a claim after award of the contract. Written questions generated at the site visits shall be submitted not later than 1400 (EDT), 31 December 1996. Telecopied questions are acceptable. Attachment (21) provides the format on which all questions pertaining to this solicitation by the offeror to the Government must be submitted.
