323-7068. Analog Electro-Hydraulic Servo Control System; 1st component
of 2 component system P/N 458.20, 2nd component of 2 component system
P/N 464.80. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst
(NAWCADLKE) intends to procure one (1) each Analog Electro-Hydraulic
Servo Control System. The specification states the requirements for the
control system to be used at the Enviromental Test Laboratory (ETL)
operated by the Product Evaluation and Verification Department (PEVD).
As a minimum, the contractual obligations of this specification are
summarized as follows: 1). The delivered system shall be totally
compatible with the hydraulic pumps, service manifolds, servo valves,
cylinders, instrumentation, and other related components used at the
ETL. The control system shall operate the hydraulic pumps and service
manifolds in both high and low pressure modes and contain an emergency
power off function. Signal conditioning for strain gauge load cells
and Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDT) shall be modular,
plugged into the controller console. Signal generation of ramp, sine,
square, and user-programmed waveforms shall also be contained within
the controller. The controller shall not require a PC to operate. 2).
A data display unit able to simultaneously present two channels of the
signal conditioner's output shall be included. The unit shall display
minimum, maximum, and mean values of selected parameters in
user-selectable engineering units. 3). Prior to acceptance, the
system's operation and compatibility shall be demonstrated at the ETL.
