under the Competition in Contracting Act, effective 1 April 1985. This
is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). A
solicitation is not applicable. Be advised that this is used for
planning or information gathering purposes only. The Government does
not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request or
otherwise pay for the information which you may provide. The following
description is offered as a basis for which a reply to this notice may
be formulated: Semiconductor Wafer Post- Processing System (SWPS)
hardware maintenance. The SWPS lab consists of semiconductor processing
equipment which is used to produce prototypes of discontinued military
circuits. The basic functional areas are lithograph, wafer processing
and packaging. The maintenance requirement for this equipment consists
of: 1. Preventative Maintenance, 2. Remedial Maintenance, 3. Facilities
Monitoring and Calibration, 4. Service Agreements (where applicable)
with original equipment manufacturers, 5. Documentation. The contractor
should have experience in the operation of maintenance of: 1. Mask
Processing Equipment, 2. Alignment Equipment, 3. Wet Etch Equipment, 4.
Plasma Processing and Vacuum Equipment, 5. Gas Handling and Monitoring
Systems, 6. Inspection Probers, 7. IC Packaging and Test Equipment. A
Performance Work Statement is available. Companies interested in this
