For technical information contact Barbara Knotz at Area Code (612) 370-2201 The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, (APHIS), Plant, Protection and Quarantine, (PPQ), intends to award a sole source contract to Signs Unlimited, Sacramento, California, for repair and possible replacement of existing ''amnesty bins'' located at several previously established locations throughout the state of California. Amnesty bins are receptacles designed and manufactured by Signs Unlimited, used for depositing contraband materials at airports and border locations. This is a fixed price contract. F.O. B. destination. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is to be released on or about December 12, 1996. Telephone requests will not be accepted. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
