This will be a service contract for all fees, labor, packaging, transportation and soil washing at Skaggs Island, Centerville Beach, and mare Island, CA. The contractor will be required to wash the soil of lead contaminates, recycle the clean soil, and dispose of or recycle the contaminates. The contractor may wash the soil off-site or on-site. SP4400-97-R-0005 will be issued on or about December 2, 1996. Approximate closing date is January 2, 1997. This will be a requirements contract for a period of 18 months. Performance will be requested on delivery orders issued against the basic contract.
