The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue an IFB for a construction project at the Western Currency Facility in Fort Worth, Texas. The construction project entails providing scissor lift tables recessed in the production floor at the input and output of 10 presses. The construction project includes cutting and removal of approximately 7.5 square feet of existing concrete floor at each of the lift pits, power distribution with routing of electrical power under the surface of the existing concrete, and installation of contractor supplied lift tables meeting the BEP Specification/Work Statement. The estimated dollar magnitude for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Bid requests should reference the Solicitation Number BEP-97-07. All bid requests must include the firm's size status (i.e., Large, Small, Minority or Women-Owned). This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. See Numbered Note 1.
