Wood cleated fiberboard box, for flat sheet and plate, with panel consisting of V2S fiberboard, PPP-F-320 or 300 pound test single wall wax impregnated fiberboard, Federal Spec PPP-B-LL63B and telescoping sides and ends. Constructed IAW ASTM B660-85 (Figure 27). Size 4' x 12', ID depth is 3/4''. Top and bottom panel (lower corner) shall be imprinted 1/2'' print: leval A-B-C, V2S solid fiberboard. Must be shipped on tarped flat bed or canvas sided trailer. Mark each pallet of material with NSN and quantity. Constructed so the I.D. of bottom shall finish approximately 1/4'' wider/longer than width and length in item description, facilitating easy loading/unloading. The ID tolerance of bottom, shall not lessen distance that the bottom, side and panels are set in from outer edges, maint approximately 1/4'' telescopic clearance, facilitating easy container loa.
