Presently, the only identified source is the American Red Cross, Pacific Northwest Region. Source must be identified by the center for Biologics, Evaluation and Research of the Food and Drug Administration as a supplier and must comply with all FDA regulations. The source must also be accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks and must comply with the Clinic Laboratory Improvement Act. Contract period is for one(1) year commencing January 1, 1997 w/option to renew an additional two(2) years. This procurement is covered under SIC 2836.
