Z -- ADD TO AND RENOVATE 3 TO 4 MISSILE ALERT FACILITIES IN NEBRASKA AND COLORADO Sol F4860897B0001. Due 020197. The work consists of furnishing all necessary plant, labor, supervision, materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment to perform a professional high quality construction project. The work will be performed within limited access, military secured, US Air Force Missile Alert Facilities (MAF), three (3) sites are selected construction sites and one (1) is an alternate bid option additive site. MAF work sites are located within the remote vicinities of Sterling and Peetz, Colorado and Sydney and Kimball, Nebraska. This work will proceed with staggered site start dates and phased work schedules. Work at each MAF construction site includes but is not limited to: interior demolition of selected areas of an existing 4,302 SF wood frame structure, minor asbestos removal, permanent and temporary utilities, asphalt paving and site re-contouring all associated with the new construction. Construction of the approximate 1200 SF new additions to each MAF includes but is not limited to: wood framing, steel siding on exterior walls, asphalt shingle roof, roof appurtenances, wood trusses and joists, interior partitions and ceilings of gyp-board on wood and steel studs, casework, HVAC, electric water heater, hot water storage tank, plumbing, electrical, communication, security, heat and smoke alarm systems.
