Concerns having the ability for providing community residential corrections facility(s) services and/or transitional services program for male and female Federal offenders. Interested offerors are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Line Item #1 will include Community Corrections Center Services in accordance with the Statement of Work, excluding Chapter 22. Line Item #2 will be used in accordance with the Statement of Work addressing Chapter 22 exclusively. Location of the facility shall be in the West Palm Beach, Florida area. Estimated total number of mandays are 36,500 mandays for the base period, 18,980 mandays for the first option year, 19,710 mandays for the second option year and 20,440 mandays for the third option year respectively. Estimated RFP issue date is December 9, 1996, estimated closing date is February 7, 1997. Contract base period is 2 years, with three one-year options to renew. A requirements contract is anticipated. Line Item #1 will be awarded; however, the Government reserves the right to choose whether Line Item #2 will be awarded.
