Item Description: The commerically available used 89 foot, 70 ton capacity, standard gauge interchange flatcars that are modified steel decked general service cars equipped with chain tie-down devices for securing vehicles and capable of transporting four, 20 foot ISO standard containers. The cars must have at least 25 years of interchange service life remaining under AAR Interchange Rules and are equipped with modern braking and safety appliance equipment. Vehicles offered for sale will be currently registed or eligible for registration under the Universal Machine Language Equipment Register (UMLER) tracking system.
