Provide back-up coverage for sole nuclear medicine technologist at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Michigan. Coverage will be required for planned absences and illnessess. Contractor shall provide fully lisenced individuals to perform a full range of nuclear studies including, but not limited to, Heart Studies, Gastric Emptying Studies, Muga/Mugx, Lung Ventilation, and various scans. Contractor shall be required to provide backup coverage within 24 hours in case of illness approximately 10 days per year. All other absences will be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance. Scheduled absences will be approximately 20 days per year. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued no later than November 14, 1996.
