The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to issue a purchase order to Systematic Solutions, Inc., 11625 N. Santa Fe, Suite A, Oklahoma City, OK 73114 for the purchase and installation of Engineered Data Products (EDP) carriages for 3480 tape cartridges. Included in the order will be 8 each 3482-1108QA Double-sided racks; 16 each 3482-108QT Custom-built racks; 864 each 3480-22 Auto II 20-packs; 1,728 each 3480-25 Tilt-Lock 20- packs. Installation by EDP-certified technicians will include removal of existing tape reel racks from carriages, removal and replacement (as necessary) of wiring, lighting, and safety features; and installation of the new carriages. Current and impending warranties require that this work be performed by EDP- certified technicians. The acquisition is therefore being conducted using other than full and open competition under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
