NORTON (205) 235-6629 CONTRACTING OFFICER (Site Code DAAC01) The contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, and materials to install the new equipment. The hoist, hoist drive system, hoist controls, and wiring for the existing bridge crane in building 400 shall be replaced with a new 30 ton hoist to contain new controls, and wiring. The new hoist shall be turn key and capable of operation at the time of completion. This will include but not limited to the hoist cable and hook. All new equipment furnished shall match the existing crane, requiring little or no rework to the existing crane structure. Should the existing crane structure require additional work for the change over in hoist arrangement, the contractor shall perform the structural work necessary. The contractor must adhere to all OSHA, NFPA, CMAA, and NELC specifications. A site visit is recomended. The scheduled site visit is 15 November 1996 at 9:00 AM CST.
