Fourth open Season solicitation to issue on or about December 9, 1996, and scheduled to close on or about January 17, 1997. There are 9 special item numbers (SIN) for negotiated multiple award scheduled FSC 72, part VII, section B, recycling collection containers and specilty waste receptacles. The contractperiod is September 1, 1997, or date of award, whichever is later, through August 31, 2001 for the following items: SIN 384-1 DESK-TOP/DESK-SIDE, personaluse recycling collection containers and accessories; SIN 384-2- intermediate, common work area use, recycling containers and accessories; SIN 384-3- wheeled transfer, recycling containers and carts and accessories; SIN 384-4- exterior, community use, recycling containers and accessories; SIN 384-5- metal, waste receptacles and accessories; 387-7- wood and wood slat, waste receptacles and accessories; SIN 384-8- concrete and aggregate stone, waste receptacles and accessories and 384-9- industrial trash storage containers without compactor, combination industrial trash storage container with compactor, and accessories. SIN's 384-5, 384-6, 384-7, and 384-8 are revised to include combination Ash/trash receptacles. Ash receptacles alone are not accepted. Resultant contracts will be indefinite quantity indefinite delivery, with $100 guaranteed minimum for the contract period. This solicitation includes commercial sales practices in lieu of discount schedule and marketing data. Contract will be foborigin within the 48 contiguous states and Washington DC.(0306)
