The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to award a firm fixed price Job Order under a Mastership Agreement for the drydock repairs to the Surveyboat Cherneski. Prospective contractors must have or be capable of entering into a Mastership Agreement. It is imperative that the solicited repair facilities have adequate drydock capacity. Measurements of the Surveyboat Cherneski are as follows: Length: 45'8'', Beam: 15'0'', Depth: 7'3'', Draft 3'0'', Displacement 19 tons. The work to be performed may consist of, but not limited to, painting, underwater repair work, miscellaneous mechanical, electrical, structural repair and drydocking. The work is scheduled to commence on or about 20 December 1996 and be completed thirty-five (35) calendar days from the date the job order is awarded. The vessel is scheduled to work in the Delaware River along the East Coast of the United States. The area of consideration includes facilities in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as well as facilities from New York City to Norfolk, VA.
