The resultant contract will provide for on-site maintenance and service of Government owned ADP equipment/software located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division at Crane Indiana. the contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, repair parts, test equipment, technical specifications and manuals, and work place facilities to effect this requirement. Labor categories required are anticipated to be Electronic Technician/Microcomputer Specialist and Telecommunication Specialist. Estimated number of hours required for labor are as follows: Electronic Technician/Microcomputer Specialist - 4,680 hours for first 9 months and 6,240 hours for each option year; Telecommunication Specialist - 1,560 hours for first 9 months and 2,080 ours for each option year. Tasks that Contractor labor consists of are defined as: 1) maintenance labor for repair of PC's and/or peripherals, 2) PC and/or peripheral loan delivery/pickup, 3) relocation/set-up of PC's and/or peripherals, customer provided upgrades and special cabling, 4) labor for preventative maintenance. Period of performance is 1 January 1997 through 30 September 1997 with four one-year option periods through 30 September 2001. The estimated number of pieces of equipment to be serviced is 250. Equipment includes power supplies, CPUs, fax machines, laptops, lan syteks, monitors, projectors, printers, etc. The Government shall make available as Government Furnished Equipment test equipment, diagnostic routines, documentation, schematics, hardware/software manuals, tools, and furniture.
