The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking qualified individuals capable of providing X-RAY Technology services, not to exceed 30 hours per week. Services include but are not limited to: perform routine X-rays, perform preventive maintenance, assist the contract radiologist in performing any X-ray that may be performed in house, any any other service routinely offered by an X-RAY Technologist. The care will be for inmates at the Metropolitan Detention Center-Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Organizations are requested to contact the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. Requests for information should be in writing and include the RFP number, the name of the contact person and the telephone number. The Metropolitan Detention Center shall furnish the facilities, and equipment for the care of the federal offenders requiring medical services. The estimated issue date of the request for proposal is October 21, 1996, with an anticipated receipt of offers date of January 6, 1996. The contract period will include a base year not to exceed ten (10) months with two (2) one year option periods of renewal. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
