Lisa Taylor, Contract Specialist, (202) 307-7820. The Drug Enforcement
Administratioin (DEA) has a requirement for video transmission
equipment. The proposed contract period will be from date of award
through 365 days with four twelve month option periods. Bid samples are
required with each proposal for technical evaluation purposes. The
Government intends to use the Two Step Sealed Bid method. Request for
the invitation for bids should be submitted within 15 calendar days
from this notice. Step one, receipt of Technical Proposal and Bid
Samples, is anticipated on or about December 17, 1996. Technical
proposals shall not include prices or pricing information. Step two,
the opening of bids, is anticipated on or about February 6, 1997. In
the Step II, bids will be requested only from those offerors technical
proposals and bid samples passed the evaluation test in Step I and
have been determined to be acceptable, will be considered for award.
Each bid in the second step must be based on the bidder's own technical
proposals. All interested offerors shall request a copy of solicitation
