notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6.

Point. 3. Notified under Article 2.9.2. 4. Products covered (HS or CCCN
where applicable, otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers may be
provided in addition, where applicable): Bulk transport of liquefied
gases as specified in Chapter 19 of the IGC-Code 1994 using gas
tankers, built on or after 1 October 1994. 5. Title, number of pages
and language(s) of the notified document: Notice to Shipping of
Regulations Governing the Construction and Equipment of Gas Tankers,
Built on or after 1 October 1994; IGC Code 1994. 6. Description of
content: In this draft Notice to Shipping, regarding transport, as
specified in point 6, the amendment to the Code for the Construction
and Equipment of Ships Carrying Liquefied Gases in Bulk laid down in
Resolution 30(61) by the Maritime Safety Commission of the
International Maritime Organization, has been declared to be
applicable. The Notice also contains additional national regulations
concerning back-up oxygen flasks and annular sprays (see Articles 6 and
7). 7. Objective and rationale: The purpose of the present Notice to
Shipping is to implement a binding Resolution (MSC.30(61) issued by the
International Maritime Organization. 8. Relevant documents: Appendix to
MSC Resolution 30(61), i.e. the amended Code specified in point 8. 9.
