The following Information is hereby included in the above referenced CBD. Up to two (2) Indefinite Delivery Type contracts will be negotiatedand awarded. In the event of overlapping Indefinite Delivery Type contracts, delivery orders will be assigned by the Chicago District as equitably as possible, based on the decision of the Contracting Officer regarding the experience of the contractorwith the specific requirements of the work to be performed, the performance on prior work orders under the contract, and the capacity of the contractor to perform the work. The estimated award date of the first contract will be March 1997 and thesecond contract May 1997. The work consists of geotechnical engineering services including: drilling, soil and rock sampling, borehole testing, well installation and pump testing, borehole and surficial geophysical testing, rock joint mapping,laboratory testing, geotechnical analyses, and report preparation. Submittals from interested firms having the capability to perform this work must be submitted by the close of business November 21, 1996 to the above address.
