Assist the Life Cycle Software Engineering Center (LCSEC), Fire Control and Software Engineering Division (FC&SED), by providing life cycle software technical, engineering, and support services in response to specific tasking statement issued by the LCSEC. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, management, materials, srvices, communications, tools, and facilities to provide same. The tasks to be performed will cover, but not be limited to, such technical areas as Battlefield Automated System (BAS) software engineering; automated testing and simulation system support; configuration management policies and procedures; evaluation, implementation, and modification of software design; development, update and review of documentation; and special studies and assignments related to the LCSEC mission. Possess automation technology and software engineering expertise in such areas as: systems analysis and modeling; design, development and maintenance of weapon system software; computer resource assessment and cost estimation; data collection and analysis; system reliability and fault tolerance; computer modeling and simulation; information systems microprocessor and microcomputer technology; systems readiness engineering; and BAS post-deployment software support (PDSS). The contractor shall be knowledgeable of, and be able to apply, pertinent DoD and Army regulations, directives, standards and specifications in performing work, as required by individual task/delivery orders and shall possess experience in programming languages such as Ada, C, C++, FORTRAN and various forms of assembly language.
