The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) is issuing notification to hold an advance planning briefing for industry, level 1, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Dearborn, Michigan, October 28-30, 1996. The objective is to present industry with an overview of acquisition plans and business opportunities in order that they will be prepared to meet the Army's future needs. TACOM will present its program and acquisition plans for Tank-Automotive and Armament material. The briefings will address present system procurements and support requirements and future system development programs. The APBI is designed for industry executives involved in advance planning, directors and managers of research and development activities, and senior engineers concerned with vehicle systems development, engineering and production. The briefing is unclassified.
