The Office of Thrift Supervision (``OT'') has a requirement for development of an electronic filing software package for the savings associations (``associations'') it regulates. This software is used by the associations to file reports. the software package required must facilitate PC creation of these reports and of amendments thereto, and shall support electronic transmission of these reports and amendments to SPRINT network, or other major telecommunications provider. It shall be capable of running in an Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 3.x, MS-DOS, and PC-DOS operating systems environment. The software shall be provided on diskette to an estimate 1400 associations. Further user software support must also be provided to the associations. OTS considers the required software a non-commercial item. The base period of the contract will be September 1, 1997 through December 31, 1997, with four 12 months optional periods as a part of the resultant contract. RFP-TOT-97-0005/C77005 will be issued on or about October 29, 1996, with proposals due January 6, 1997. There are no eligibility restrictions.
