For additional information, contact Tim McVady, Code 201.7M at (202) 685-1277 This announcement is to notify interested offerors that the Fleet and Industrial Suppl6y Center Norfolk, Detachment Washington, DC intends to procure technical and analytical support services on behalf of the Naval Air Systems Command (PMA-205). This RFP number replaces the former N00600-96-R-2161. The contractor shall apply Instructional Systems Development (ISD) principles to develop and support training systems for the Naval avaiation community. In performance of this effort, the contractor shall provide all necessary professional, technical, and managerial resources. These items may be utilized to conduct training courses on various Naval aviation platforms. The type of contract will be Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, with a period of performance consisting of a base year, four one-year options, and an option to extend services for an additional six months. This procurement will be competed as a full and open competition to procurements. The estimated level of effort is 902,260 labor hours for all years. Work will be conducted at the contractor's place of business. Travel will occur on a limited basis. The SIC is 8711.
