503-273-5210 The VAMC, Portland, Oregon requires A/E services for
Project #648-97-111 at the Vancouver Division titled ''Utility Upgrade;
Condensage Return''. The scope of work includes site investigation,
preliminary design, final design, 35 sets of drawings, specifications,
cost estimate, and construction period services. Drawings are to be
done on CAD compatible with AutoCad Version 13. A copy of the drawings
are to be submitted to the VA on disk at the end of the project. The
general scope of work is: This project will replace/upgrade the steam
condensate lines under the existing buildings at the Vancouver Campus.
This will involve piping, vents, traps and asbestos abatement. This
project does not include the condensate mains. The construction cost
range for this project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. Only
firms within the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver, Washington areas desiring
consideration should submit current SF-254's and SF-255's before Close
of Business (4:00 p.m.) local time, November 13, 1996. Selection and
