Housekeeping services for the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (basic + 4 option years). The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to ensure competent and productive performance of housekeeping services. This is a Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) set aside and contractors shall submit their SBA 8(a) certification with their proposal or the proposal will not be considered. A financial responsibility determination will be accomplished concurrent with the evaluation. Technical proposals will be evaluated on best value criteria based on the Quality Control Plan and past performance. Technical factors (quality control plans and past performance) are approximately equal to price with quality control plans being more important than past performance. All responsible 8(a) sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Kennedy Center. The RFP will be issued o/a 21 Oct 96. A presolicitation conference is scheduled for Wednesday, 6 Nov 96 at 10:00 am in the Kennedy Center Training Room. Contractors shall submit their written questions to the POC by 30 Oct 96 (facsimile of the questions will be accepted). Contractors shall submit their request for the RFP in writing and include five (5) self-addressed mailing labels with their request; telephone or facsimile requests will not be accepted. (281)
