Services to provide all labor tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary for remedial maintenance and on-call repair service on the Material Handling Equipment (MHE) located at Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) Port Hueneme Navy Base and Vandenberg Air Force Base. Period of Performance to be from date of award thru 30 September 1997. Remedial maintenance shall be performed on-site on approximately 18 pieces at DRMO Vandenberg AFB and 15 pieces at DRMO Port Hueneme of Material Handling Equipment ranging from 2,000 lbs to 15,000 lbs and including front end loaders, sweepers, scrap handling, boom crane and a log baler. The contractor shall provide on-call repair service during regular business hours normally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday. All replacement parts shall be new, or equal to or exceed original equipment manufacturer parts. All cleaning processes will be accomplished in accordance with applicable installation, state and EPA regulations. All work to be performed by skilled mechanics using proper equipment and procedures in accordance with accepted industry standards. This acquisition is 100 percent small business set aside.
