B -- CH-60 VERTICAL REPLENISHMENT DEMONSTRATION POC Contact, Edwin Williams, Phone (703)604-2000 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-96-G-0022 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 North Main Street, Stratford, CT 06601 for a demonstration and test of the vertical replenishment (VertRep) capabilities of a prototype CH-60 helicopter, a composite of the Army UH-60 Black Hawk and Navy SH-60 Sea Hawk helicopters, as a potential replacement for the CH-46 cargo platform. As designer and sole manufacturer of the H-60 series helicopters, Sikorsky is the only known source with the technical data, manufacturing and engineering expertise required to perform the CH-60 demonstration.
