The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) intends to award a sole-source Purchase Order not to exceed $50,000 with SYNTEK, to provide analyses supporting the development of a strategic plan for marine activities. Activities required shall include review of practices in development of new programs, execution of strategic planning, and development of an issue paper specifying program ideas, related background, applications and relevancy to requirements of the Department of Defense. SNYTEK has an unprecedented level of expertise and knowledge in the area of emerging maritime technologies. The President, Dr. Leopold is a recognized world authority in ship design and development, Mr. Turner is an expert on offshore platforms and specifically on MOBE, CAPT Dyer, USN (ret.) is an expert on system required for Navy special forces. These experts have been responsible for the development of all U.S. Navy ships at sea today, as well as, all the advanced technology ship programs such as the hydrofoils, air cushion vehicles, swatch and sea shadow.
