The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) All plant labor and materials for the construction of a new pump house (approx 43' x 68') which is slab on grade, CMU walls with brick veneer, standing seem metal roof. The pump house will house (2) off-loading filter separator, (4) transfer pumps, (3) transfer filter separators, controls, electrical power, communications, relocation of an emergency generator system, and admin office space. (7) New off-load headers, (2) fill stands, new road, (4) new off-load pumps, upgrade of existing cathodic protection, and removal of two existing pump houses, underground tanks and associated piping, off-load headers and fill stands are included in the project. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 270 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a October 23, 1996. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request. All requests for solicitation packages should be made in writing no later than 14 days prior to bid opening. After such time, packages will be furnished if supply is available. It has been determined that the number of sets be limited to 1 (one) per firm (additional copies will be the responsibility of the requestor).
