The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division China Lake, CA intends to procure on a competitive basis the following item: Carbon Dioxide (Solified). Quantity requested 48,000 lbs. Specification for Preservation/Packaging Packing. 1.) The Carbon Dioxide (Solified) shall be furnished in fifty-five (55) pound block cut into five (5) pound pieces and separated from adjancent pieces by wax paper. 2. Each fifty-fve (55) pound parcel shall be double wrapped in heavy craft paper. 3. Each wrapping shall be secured and sealed with moisture resistant tape. 4. Each double wrapped package shall be packed in non-returnable fiberboard shipping carton and sealed with moisture resistant tape. 5. Each double wrapped and boxed package shall be placed in a second non-returnable fiberboard shipping carton.
