Westinghouse Savannah River Company (WSRC), management and operating contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy's Savannah River Site (SRS) near Aiken, South Carolina, is offering the opportunity for licensing or other arrangements of wet acid oxidation and vitrification methodologies used for the remediation and stabilization of hazardous and/or radioactive waste. Respondents will be provided a summary of the background and status of the technology in the form of a Phase Zero business plan and instructions for submission of a plan of commercialization. WSRC will consider an exclusive license to the technology based upon the quality of plans received.
