Contract Specialist, 202-324-2956. The Federal Bureau of Investigation
(FBI) has a need to acquire maintance services for an existing PBX
telephone system (Northern Telecom Meridian SL1-MS) orginally installed
in 1986. The system consist of: 300 ports; 32 Trucks (Three (3)
Incoming, Three (3) Outgoing only, 11 Combination, 15 Direct Inward
Dial); seven (7) Off Premise Extension; one (1) Attendant Console; 32
Northern Telecom SL-1 Telephone Instruments (Models QSU61 with Display
and QSU60 Non-display); 264 2500-Type Standard Telephone Instruments;
17 analog ports used for CPE (customer provided equipment); Station
Message Detail Recording System; and Printer; Northern Telecom Meridian
Mail System and Printer. The system is located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Period of performance is from award date with option to extend the
service one (1) additional year contingent on availability of funds for
Fiscal Year 1997 and 1998. The maintenance service will begin as soon
as the successful bidder has received proper security clearance. A walk
through of the site will be scheduled. This requirement will be
processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures
(SAP) for Small Business-Small Business Set-Aside. The standard
Industrial Classified Code is 1731. All responsible sources may submit
a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered by this
