This is a Pre-Solicitation notice. The New Jersey National Guard proposes to award a contract to Add to and Alter Medical Training Facility for the New Jersey Air National Guard Base in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. This solicitation may provide for multiple line items and additive bids, of which must be addressed in order to be considered for this solicitation. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials required to perform the work in strict accordance with the contract documents. The estimated cost range is between $100,000 to $500,000. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Only prime contractors should reply. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification number is 1542. All request for solicitation package must include solicitation number, point of contact, telephone number and facsimile number. Bidders must also identify their status as small disadvantaged business (SDB), emerging small business (ESB), section 8(a) small business act contractor's small business, or large business. Women-owned, small and small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to compete. A non-refundable charge is required for each solicitation package. Only two solicitation packages will be issued per contractor. Requests for bid documents must be in writing accompanied by a check for $100.00, made payable to the U.S. Treasury. Facsimile and telephone requests will not be accepted. The bid number should be identified in all correspondence. Tentative dates are, solicitation packages available on 29 October 1996 and bid opening at 2:00p.m. on 28 November 1996. The bid opening will be held in the 177 BCE Conference Room located at 400 Langley Road, Egg Harbor Twp, New Jersey 08234-9500.
