Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeking information to apprise
themselves of the availability in the market place for ''Fabrication of
Test Device for Body Armor''. The following is the minimum design
devices for testing of the effectiveness of body armor and required
information as to the availability of sensor devices for measuring
pressure transients that meet our requirements. Mimimum operating
requirements are, but not limited to the following: 1) The sensor
device must be able to measure pressures continously over the range of
0 - 21,000 psi (0 - 1.35e8 Pa). 2) The sensor device must have a
response time of less than 10 microseconds. The sensor must maintain a
sample rate of 100kHz.) 3) The sensor must have a footprint area of no
greater than 0.8 sq. cm. (0.124 sq. in.). Information shall be made
available at no cost to the government. Interested vendors should send
