This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 583-114-96 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-42. Contractor to provide one Vidas 30 Immunodiagnostic Assay System (stand alone) to include the following: 30 Assay capacity, and alone) to include and alone) to include Vidas module, CC2 computer, data terminal, multicopy printer, start-up kit, installation and training. Contractor shall also provide two (2) operator manuals, one (1) service manual, one (1) schematics, and one (1) parts list and ordering information. System shall be brand name or equal to the equipment supplied by Biomerieux Vitek Inc., 595 Anglum Drive, Hazelwood, MO 63042-2395. Brand name or equal items may be considered if descriptive literature is provided with proposal. Delivery will be made within 30 days from receipt of order, which will state specific delivery point in Indianapolis, 46222. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) price, (2) warranty, (3) delivery time, and (4) technical (capability of the offered system to meet agency needs).
