PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The work provides for the renovation and functional upgrading of Bldgs. 50, 51, and 52, which serve as the 60th Airlift Wing Headquarters, and for upgrading of the buildings to a base-wide design, life safety, and engineering criteria. Bldgs. 50 and 52 which house the Wing Operations Support and Plans Group are single-story concrete structures constructed in 1945. Bldg. 51, which houses the Wing Command Staff, Support, Safety and Quality groups is a single story wood-frame structure constructed in 1952. The work includes selective demolition of building interior and exterior elements, including architectural, mechanical, and electrical elements and systems; roofing; fixtures; and equipment. Work will also include hazardous materials demolition, abatement, and disposal, inclulding PCB-containing elements, asbestos-bearing materials, and lead-base paint finishes. Additional site and buldings' underground utility systems with associated site preparation and repair work, including partial pavement removal and replacement.
