F -- ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES FOR THREE SMALL PROJECT INDEFINTIE DELIVERY TYPE CONTRACTS (SPIDT) FOR ILLINOIS, INDIANA, MICHIGAN, OHIO, KENTUCKY AND TENNESSEE SOL W22W9K-6250-6221 POC Contract Specialist Denise A. Bush (502) 625-7528 (Site Code DACA27) The work to be performed consisits of seeking sources for three (3) Small Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts for the provision of recuring Hazardous and Toxic Waste (HTW) related services. The required services include: underground/aboveground storage tank testing/closure/replacement; excavation/removal/manifesting/transportation/disposal of hazardous wastes and contaminated materials; multi-media chemical sampling/sample management/analysis; demolition and debris removal; drilling/installation/sampling of groundwater wells; transformer removal/disposal; environmental property audits; geotechnical drilling/samplilng; installation of temporary facilities and site restoration; surveys/mapping/drafting/engineering drawing; and preparation of site specific safety and health plans. The contractor will be required to furnish all plant, labor, materials and euqipment necessary to provide timely, cost effective, high quality HTW related services in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. The base period of performance is two (2) years with a three (3) year option renewable at the Government's discretion. The total potential contract value over the life of the contract is $2,500,000.00. The maximum amount that can be expended on any single delivery order is $250,000. Costs will be individually negotiated and established for each delivery order. These contracts are set aside for completion amoung certified small businesses. For informational purposes, the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 8744, Environmental Remediation Services and the small business size is 500 employees. Requests for proposals will be issued on or about October 7, 1996. Proposals will be due about 30 days from date of issue.
