A -- RANGE STANDARDIZATION AND AUTOMATION (RSA) PHASE IIA PROGRAM SOL Contract No. F04701-95-C-0029. The contract action provides for two Passive Coherent Location (PCL) systems and testing of these systems for the RSA Phase IIA program. The test effort involves the collection of radio frequency data at both the Eastern and Western Ranges for Space Lift, Ballistic and aircraft targets. The data will be processed by Lockheed Martin Tactical Systems Division at their facility using algorithms previously developed by their company. The resultant computed vehicle trajectory shall be compared with the Best Estimate of Trajectory (BET) data generated by the Ranges to determine the PCL system's ability to provide Range Safety metric data. One PCL system will be provided to each range which will be used to collect, store and process metric data during each launch or aircraft flight. (260)
