Professional Architect-Engineering Services are required to design a new 8.194 SQ meter (9.800 SY) Aircraft parking Apron at the Reno-Tahoe IAP, Nevada ANG, Reno, NEvada. Work includes the production of designs, plans, drawings, estimates, and specifications as required to execute the construction project and the conduct of fact finding studies, surveys, investigations in support of design activities, and supervision of project when required. The design must be completed within six months of design start date. Criteria which will be the basis for selecting firms are, in order of importance: (1) Professional Qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized Experience and technical competence in the types of work required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in a timely manner; (4) Past performance on contract with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in general geographical Area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (6) Demonstrated success in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design; and (7) Volume of work previously awarded by the Department of Defense to the firm. Participation by minority business enterprises is encouraged.
