C -- INDEFINITE DELIVERY A-E SERVICES FOR MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL, RENO-TAHOE IAP, RENO, NV Sol DAHA26-96-R-0013. Due 102296. POC Contracting Officer, LTC Bruce R. Work to be performed will be Professional Architect-Engineer services for various projects at Reno-Tahoe International Airport, Air National Guard, Reno, NV. Work includes the production of designs, plans, drawings, estimates, and specifications as required to execute the construction project and the conduct of fact finding studies, surveys, investigations in support of design activities, and supervision of project when required. This Indefinite Delivery Contract will have a maximum monetary limit of $200,000 with a minimum of $5,000 guaranteed against which individual delivery orders up to $75,000 each may be written. The contract starting date will be approximately November 1996 and will continue through approximately November 1997. This contract is for a one (1) year period with the option to extend an additional one (1) year, Typical work includes but is not limited to: (1) Building additions to existing facilities; (2) Alteration and repair of miscellaneous services and utilities; (3) Alteration and repair of grounds, roads, buildings and structures. Criteria which will be the basis for selecting firms are, in order of importance: (1) Professional Qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services: (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; (3) Capacity and size of the firm to accomplish the work in a timely manner; (4) Past performance on contract with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (6) Demonstrated success in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design; and (7) Volume of work previously awarded by Department of Defense to the firm with the object of affecting equitable distribution of contracts among qualified A-E firms. Participation by minority business enterprises is encouraged. Interested Architectural-Engineering firms must ensure that current Standard Form (SF) 254 and 255 are received at the address shown by 2:00 P.M. local time, on 22 October 1996.
