J -- INTERIM REPAIR DEPOT SUPPORT SOL N00024-97-R-5170 POC (02513), Ms. Kim Whitman-Trujillo, (703) 602-8105 ext. 551; Contract Officer, LCDR Kimberly Beeson, (703) 602-8105 ext. 519 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to negotiate a contract with Hughes Technical Services Company, 1665 hughes Way, Long Beach, CA 90810-0399 for the Interim Repair Depot Support for the AN/UYQ-21 display group for one base year and two option years. This support will include repair services, supply support, ready-for-issue (RFI) materials and equipment required to maintain the Depot. Authority for this contracting action is 10 USC 2304 (c) (1). Hughes is currently the only manufacturer (sole producer) with the design and production knowledge to provide the required services. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the effort described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
