synopsis/solicitation for commerical services prepared in accordance
with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is
F04700-96T7519. This is a Request for Proposal. The solicitation
document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect
through FAC 90-40 and DAC 91-10. This acquisition is 100% small
business set aside. Standard industrial classification code: 7334.
Small Business Size Standard: $5.0M. The acquisition includes one line
item for maintenance of 3 Xerox 1090 copiers each with
reduction/enlargement, recirculating doc handler, duplexing, and
finisher. Unscheduled repair service necessitated by ordinary use will
be provided as required by and at the request of the Government (no
call limit) during the hours of 0730 to 1630, Monday through Friday,
except Government holidays. Replacement parts will be furnished on an
exchange basis and will be new or equal to new in performance. The
rates will include the furnishing and installation of belts, drums or
brushes where applicable. Contractor will grant Customer one copy
credit for each copy presented which in Contractor's judgment is
unusable, OR, which was produced by the Contractor when servicing the
machine. Invoices will reflect copy credits. Contractor will install
developer purchased by the Government and will dispose of used
developer unless otherwise requested by the Government. If equipment is
within 30 miles of the contractor's facility the response time will be
6 working hours. If the distance is over 30 miles the response time
will be 12 working hours. Period of performance for this contract is 1
Oct 96 through 30 Sep 97 with the Government having the option to
extend the contract for one year. FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions

contract favlue to include all options. Offerors must include a
completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and
Certifications--Commerical Items, with the offer. FAR clause 52.212-4,

52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes
