R -- RADIOLOGY TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE SOL RFP 670-06-97 DUE 103096 POC Contracting Officer David Evangelista 315-477-4507 Provide transcription service for Radiologic, Nuclear Medicine, and related reports as described in the solicitation for the period 01/01/97 - 12/31/97 with two, one year options to extend. Reports are currently dictated onto microcassettes and standard cassettes for pick up by the Contractor. Dictations are transcribed and directly transmitted into the Medical Center DHCP system by the Contractor. The government anticipates that this service will be changed during the life of this contract to include a requirement for the Contractor to provide the ability for VA medical personnel to dictate directly into the Contractor's equipment. Current turn-around time for all reports is 24 hours from receipt. Contractor shall bear all phone costs. Workload may fluctuate throughout the year. This is a Small Business Set Aside.
